










Carrie Kabak is the author of Cover the Butter (Penguin Random House), an Independent Booksellers' Pick, AudioFile Magazine Earphones Award winner, and Quill Award nominee. Her latest novel, Shibby Magee: An Irish Tragicomedy, is a Top 50 bestseller in Contemporary British & Irish Literature, a #1 New Release in Sibling Relationships, was featured in Publishers Weekly's Monthly Spotlight, and received a 5-Star review from Readers' Favorite. Her work has also appeared in anthologies published by Simon & Schuster, Atria Books, She Writes Press, Seal Press, and North Atlantic Books. She writes character-driven fiction exploring relationships, family dynamics, and the search for belonging.
Alongside her writing, Carrie designs book covers for major publishers, following many years as a lead production designer at Hallmark Cards.
An Irish citizen with family roots in County Roscommon, and also a British citizen from Carmarthen, South Wales, Carrie now lives in Missouri with her chef husband. Together they have five sons, five grandchildren, two Labradors, two cockatiels, and four freshwater aquariums.
